The staff was very polite and helpful. I had a very heavy bag and there is no elevator so they helped me up and down the many flights of stairs when I checked in and out. The room was very clean and the location is perfect! Could not ask for a better spot to explore the city. I walked to most of the major sights and many busses stop just down the street. It was hard to find the hotel though. It is in a building with other apartments and offices and you have to ring up. The bed was fine but a little hard. Overall great hotel in a great spot. Oh and they bring breakfast to your room every morning at whatever time you choose.

Bautiful and huge room. Wlan available. Very helpful personnel. Only problem was to lack of the lift (87 steps to climb). Cannot be recommended to old and handicapped people. Excellent location (300 m from Piazza Navona!). Graet value for the money in the heart of Rome! Thank you and the personnel of NGV!
No lift and in the third floor (87 steps).

It's central location made it ideal to reach Rome's attractions and main venues in minimum time on foot.
Too many stairs to reach the hotel and no lift service available. Furthermore after 8:30pm there was no one in the reception.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The wifi connection was weak and the daily login procedure was embarrassing.

The location was perfect and the staff were so helpful and accomodating from start to finish. The room was also a fantastic size with a great bathroom.
Perhaps just the matress on the sofa bed was rather uncomfy, but not a big problem!

My wife and I had a great timemstaying here for two nights on our first trip to Rome. The location was ideal. It was in a great neighborhood and was equidistant from all the spots we wanted to see. The continental breakfast was good, and the staff very helpful. The free wifi helped us keep in touch with home and plan our next day's outing.
As others have mentioned, one drawback was the number of stairs. However, this was not horrible, and it shouldn't affect your decision to stay here unless you have health problems.

I think the best advantage of the hotel is it's location. It's 2 minutes walk from Piazza Navona, one of the greatest piazzas in Rome. Everything is in walking distance. Spacious rooms, clean, large bathroom.
The hotel is placed on the third floor and has no elevator. A lot of staircases, which is hard if you have luggages.

The quad room was very large and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Contrary to other posts, someone was around until early evening. The facility enjoys modern conveniences but retains its historical flavour. There are great places to eat, a grocery store, and a liquor store in the immediate vicinity. This great central location has the feel of a Roman neighbourhood unlike other hotels in the middle of a tourist zone.
The rooms are on the third floor - with ground floor being zero. There are around 90 short stairs. My husband and teens did not mind but this hotel is not meant for the unfit or for travellers with heavy luggage. Thin sofa bed mattress is not meant for adults.

We had a beautiful room for 4 adults, overlooking a charming street close to the Piazza Navona. The location was great with lots of restaurants, gelaterias, and shopping on the same street. Also, was within walking distance to many main attractions. Our quad room had queen bed and fold out couch. Room and bathroom were large and tastefully decorated. Continental breakfast delivered to the room (pre-order). They do have internet available.
No complaints, but be aware that the hotel is up three flights of stairs (no lift) and the staff is not on the property 24 hrs. They give you a key to get into the building.

Location near Piazza Navona, and room that opened on the courtyard - not the street. Very helpful staff.
The stairs, and construction occurring on first floor. Also the "additions" on the breakfast bill, other than a croissant.
